Research and documentation being important facets of the accreditation process, NAAC has built a well-stocked library and an active publication unit. NAAC publications are designed to create awareness amongst the faculty on the importance of accreditation. Manuals for different higher education institutions are available in print and electronic format. NAAC also conducts various research studies, impact analysis and feedback surveys which provide valuable policy inputs.
Library
NAAC has a well-stocked library covering all domains of higher education with specific emphasis on Quality in Higher Education and Accreditation. The Library is completely automated with barcode for computerised circulation and OPAC through Intranet.
The collection includes areas of Assessment and Accreditation, Teaching-Learning Process, Teaching Techniques, Curriculum Development, ICT in Higher Education, University Education, Educational Planning and Administration, Faculty Development, Student Support and Progression, Women Studies, TQM, Management, Library and Information Sciences, Student Development and general reference materials. The library also keeps a special collection of publications of UGC, AIU, World Bank, UNESCO, Common Wealth of Learning and other international accreditation bodies. Library collections are classified as per the Dewey Decimal Classification System.
The library provides access to all NAAC publications for faculty and academic users of NAAC as well as from other institutions. The Library subscribes to online and print versions of around hundred national and international journals and Emerald and ERIC international databases.
The library has separate archives of Self Study Reports (SSR), Re- Accreditation Reports (RAR), Internal Quality Assurance Cell Reports (IQAC) and Peer team Documents of NAAC accredited Colleges and Universities, codified and computerised for easy retrieval. The collection is acclaimed as valuable reference material for those who are in the process of accreditation and education research. Access has been made on demand for both internal and external users.
The library remains open on all working days from 9.15 A.M. to 5. 45 P.M.

The NAAC Library has a large collection of books on higher education, NAAC and UGC-collaborated conference proceedings as well as SSR/SAR, RAR, and AQAC Reports. These are highly sought after by academic staff, research scholars as well as those who aspire to going for Accreditation.
